Messi) would keep their appointment. When he looked up to absorb the hit,
he found it residing directly over his head. When he threaded in the pass
to Julian Alvarez that led to the second goal, he saw it wink at him. When
Argentina started biting and barking their way to the finish of the game,
he witnessed it happen over his shoulder.
