India’s skipper, Rohit Sharma, suffered an injury and will thus miss
Thursday’s start of the second Test against Bangladesh in Dhaka. While
playing in the second One-Day International of the tour earlier this month,
Sharma injured his left thumb while fielding and returned to Mumbai to see
a specialist. After missing the first Test and being replaced as captain by
KL Rahul, Sharma was confirmed to miss the second Test as well on Monday.
