Indian Premier League 2023 is the 16th edition of the franchise league.
After three years gap, the tournament is being played in home and away
format. A total of 74 matches will be played among the 10 participating
teams, which have been divided into two groups, during the IPL 2023 season.
The Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans are the defending champions of
the league while Rajasthan Royals were the runners-up last season. The
winning team will get two points, while in case of a match getting
abandoned, teams will share a point each. After the end of the league
stage, the top-4 teams will enter the playoff.
